I have to admit..this is new to me...I have never heard of getting a stone in your saliva gland. Gosh, that has to be so painful! The only thing I can think of that might help flush the stone out is rinsing with warm salt water. I really don't know if that would help but it sure wouldn't hurt to try before considering surgery. Try 1/2 tsp. of salt in about 4 oz. of warm water, make sure it don't have iodine, I'd try rinsing several times a day. Warm salt water is always recommended by dentists whenever they are concerned with oral health.
