Bath Water Temperature
by: Najmah Qatadah

I'd like to recommend that the temperature of the water we use to bathe or shower with also affects our skin.

Many of us come up with the idea of a 'nice, hot bath'. There can be nothing more damaging to our skin than to bather or shower daily with water as hot as we can stand it. Just as in a dishwasher, hot water washes away oils with or without the use of soap (or dishwashing products) Try it...

So, use luke warm or cool/cold water to bathe or shower with.

Another product that I use is shea butter. It's natural and has a lot of other benefits; such as UV protection, helps with arthritis pains, usually excellent for those with sensitive skin, can be used all of your body from head to toe, and is relatively inexpensive to buy.

If I can be of further help, feel free to email me at: sir9505@gmail.com. My name is Najmah.

Home Remedies for Dry Skin
by: Grandma

Hello Anamika,

Taking care of your skin starts from the inside. You need to drink lots of water to keep your skin hydrated. Also eating lots of pure virgin olive oil is important for your skin. Try dabbing olive oil on many foods you eat.

Also, it's important what kind of soap you are using. The wrong soap can dry you skin and cause irritation. Never use soap with deoderant or anti-bacterial. Stay away from perfumes and dyes also. After bathing try massaging pure virgin olive oil all over your skin and extra where you find dry spots. Olive oil is really good for your skin and your health.
