Natural Remedies for Menopause by: Grandma
Hello,
Yes, there are many remedies for menopause. Vitamins are an important ingredient for menopause symptoms. Like B-complex vitamins, along with calcium and magnesium. Vitamin E is great for stopping hot flashes. You need to start out with a low dose of Vitamin E and gradually increase it to about 1,200 milligrams a day.
The herb Black Cohosh has been used for hundred of years to reduce the severity of symptoms and seems to mimick the effects that estrogen would normallY have. Other herbs you can use are, Suma, Ginseng, Gota Kola and Dong Quai.
Personally, I used just yams and soy when I was dealing with menopause symptoms. I just included a half a yam several times a week in my meal and stopped using all dairy. I switched to Organic Eden Soy Milk to pour in my coffee. After changing my diet my menopause symptoms gradually stopped.
