Kitchen Dish Rag or Sponge Tip

When your dish rag or sponge smells funny, just put it in the dishwasher with your dishes and turn it on. The heat in the washer will sanitize it nicely.

Hello B. Prince,

Thanks for sharing your tip on keeping our dish rags and sponges clean, they do tend to get smelly. I usually just throw my dish rags in the washer when washing towels and the sponges I usually just throw out once it starts to stink. I'll have to give your tip a try.
