Hate Taking Medication!

I just wanted to say thank you for this website, I have watched my grandfather and mother live lives based on the medications they take for the day, I hate taking advil for a headache... so thank you for allowing me to have the chance to learn more about herbal remedies!

Hello Victoria,

I can't tell you how much you warmed my heart today to read your submission. I hate medication too, I have never been able to put the trust of my health or my family's health into the medical fields hands. Like you, I watched both of my parents die from taking the wrong medication and trusting hospitals to know what they were doing. I've spent my entire adult life trying to figure out ways to keep my family and myself away from doctors and hospitals. Believe me, it wasn't easy. I never got any of my children immunized and the schools did everything they could to force me to march to the beat of their drums.

When I started building Grandma's Wisdom my intention was to try to help as many families as I could to avoid many medications and try home remedies or hebal remedies instead. I realize the medical field is important but most of the time we can usually take care of our health issues by using things that really aren't that complicated. Most of the time it's just a matter of givng our bodies some temporary relief to allow ouselves to rest and let our bodies heal itself.
