Coconut Milk for Chronic Diarrhea

Do you know if a person drinks the canned coconut milk straight or is it mixed with some other liquid? This is regarding for diarrhea. In any case, how much does one need to drink and is that daily and if so for how long? Sorry i know this is a lot of questions, but necessary for me.

Not under control yet, but will start the Coconut Milk tomorrow, June 4, 2015 per your response and see what happens. Will post my results. I know not everything works the same for every individual. i.e. the coconut cookies (?) didn't work for me. Dang it! *smiles*

Hello Judy,

I am so sorry it's taken me so long to publish your submission and answer your questions, I've been on an extended leave due to family issues.
I hope by now you have your severe diarrhea problems solved and feeling much better. Just in case I'll answer your questions.

You do drink the coconut milk straight. Just a few sips throughout the day should start helping you. I'll suggest you keep going with it for a few weeks, or at least until the diarrhea is under control, and even then I'd keep sipping another week. Please make sure you keep yourself hydrated through the day by drinking lots of spring water and maybe even adding a pinch of sea salt. Herbal teas are good at these times to.
