This remedy is so simple and yet often overlooked. Humidifiers are great to have going in the winter months, and vaporizers work wonders for that extra boost of moisture when your not feeling well; but when a vaporizer isn't available, simply heat up some water on the stove, not to boiling, pour into a clean bowl, or sink, drape a towel over the back of your head, lean down and breathe in the mist. After about 2 minutes (or earlier) that congestion in your lungs and nasal passage will start to loosen up.
