Baby Fever

Hello,

What should I do if 5 months old has a fever of 104. He has a cold and is teething.

Hello Virginia,

I'm hope your baby's fever has passed by now, I'm sorry I wasn't available all weekend I was away.

Teething can cause a low grade fever at 5 months but 104 isn't a low grade fever so I'd guess it's the combination of the cold and teething. If you look on the left you'll see a button that reads "Medicinal Teas", just press that button and look for a link to recipes for Catnip Tea. It's excellent for fevers, congestion, upset stomachs, even colic.

Like I said, I hope the fever has passed by now and if so just mark this in your favorite places and keep the recipes handy for anytime your baby comes down with any of the symptoms listed.
